VMware vSphere 5.0 Update 1 released

VMware has made available Update 1 for vSphere ESXi 5 and vCenter, providing patches and enhancements, like support for additional guest operation system customizations.
This update can be applied to vSphere 5.0, which was released in July last year.
The vCenter Appliance was not release yet, but it will be release later this year.
One essential point in this release is, that in the vSphere Essentials Editions, a hard enforcement is added to limit the vRAM usage (192GB). After the limit is met, additional operations (PowerOn VMs) that lead to license over usage will be prevented.
