Imtech ICT Austria GmbH promoted to VMware Premier Status
In February I have started my new job at Imtech ICT Austria GmbH as a Senior System Consultant, mostly for VMware und Citrix. So who is Imtech ICT Austria GmbH.
Imtech ICT Austria is one of Austria’s leading enterprise IT providers. As part of the high-tech group Imtech, we combine the latest international standards of IT services with solid local customer care. We are committed to providing our customers in business and in public institutions with value-adding solutions.
Including our foreign subsidiaries, our Imtech ICT Austria team comprises 370 employees. In Austria, we have offices in Vienna, Linz, Salzburg, Graz, Innsbruck and Dornbirn. Additionally, we have established subsidiaries in Cologne (Germany), Strasbourg (France), and Bucharest (Romania).
Imtech ICT Austria and its affiliated company Imtech Austria Anlagentechnik are part of Imtech N.V., a listed technology group of companies with more than 27,400 employees worldwide. In 2011, revenues amounted to 5.1 billion euro.
When I started to work for this company, the VMware Partner Status was Solution Provider Enterprise with the Infrastructure Competency. One month later I had transfered all my VSP, VTSP, VCP and VCAP to the company and enrolled the Desktop, IaaS, Management and Business Continuity Competency. I was very proud as we got promoted to Solution Provider Premier status, so we are the third Premier Partner in Austria. To set apart from the other Premier Partners, I decided to spend an additional week to complete the VBCA Competency (Exchange, SQL) as well.
Since March 16th, Imtech ICT Austria GmbH is the only Premier Partner in Austria with all Competencies (except Application Modernization and Data Management, which were released afterwards). I'm very proud to be part of that company and of my contribution on gaining this status.
